LAWRENCE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -
The Alabama Bureau of Investigations is conducting an investigation of Chief Deputy Harold Knighten.
Lawrence County Sheriff Gene Mitchell requested the investigation after multiple complaints from the community.
Knighten has been placed on administrative leave pending the results of the investigation.
No additional information has been released.
