GUNTERSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Five people were injured in a two-car accident just west of Guntersville Saturday evening.

Huntsville Troopers and Marshall County police officers responded to the accident on Highway 69 around 3:30 p.m.

Troopers said five people were injured in the accident. Their conditions are unknown.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
