TONEY, AL (WAFF) -
A wreck off Ready Section Road and Wall Triana killed one person and injured two others Friday night just after 8 p.m.
Officials said the wreck happened between a Dodge and an Acura. Two people involved in the wreck had to be rescued by firefighters.
Troopers said the driver of the Acura, 24-year-old Andrew Beach was killed in the accident. The driver of the Dodge, Gerald Gibbs and two passengers were injured.
They were transported to Huntsville Hospital; one was listed in critical condition. Gibbs was later discharged.
According to Alabama State Troopers, alcohol may have played a role in the wreck.
