HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Three people were taken to the hospital after a ceiling collapsed at an apartment on Mason Court.

One victim at the scene said they were sitting on a bed when the sheet rock crashed down on top of them, narrowly missing a baby.

HEMSI transported the three victims to the hospital with minor injuries.

The Huntsville Housing Authority is conducting an investigation to determine what caused the ceiling to collapse.
