SHEFFIELD, AL (WAFF) -
A man is behind bars after police said he held an illegal keg party which landed nine minors in jail.
Sheffield Police said they arrived at the home of Andrew Slatton around 9:30 Wednesday night. Officers said about 30 people were at the home.
Officials said a number of minors were present at the party. Nine people, ages 18 to 20, were arrested and charged with minor in possession of alcohol.
28-year-old Slatton was arrested and charged with open house party.
Officers said they also found prescription pills and marijuana at the home.
