MORGAN COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -
Former Morgan County principal Guy Bowling died late Friday night.
Friends of Bowling said he died close to midnight Friday.
The cause of death has not been determined but it is believed to be from complications of an April car accident.
Bowling's car crashed head-on with another car on Memorial Parkway.
Bowling was rushed to the hospital with serious head injuries.
According to a Pray for Guy Bowling Facebook page, he had recently shown signs of improvement, and the death came as a huge shock to family members.
His visitation will be Sunday, July 15 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Brindlee Mountain Baptist Church with service immediately following.
