FT. PAYNE, AL (WAFF) -
A DeKalb County woman
is in the hospital after she was hit by a car Friday evening.
It happened just after
8 p.m. at the Wills Valley Rec Center on Godfrey Avenue in Fort Payne.
Authorities said the
driver put the car in reverse as his mother was getting in. She fell and the
car ran over her legs.
The vehicle had to be
lifted off the woman.
She was taken to
Huntsville Hospital with serious injuries.
The name of the woman
has not been released.
The incident was ruled
an accident.
