FLORENCE, AL (WAFF) -
A Florence woman is out on bond after police said she stabbed another woman with a screwdriver Wednesday morning.
Police said Lametria Wess went to the City Lodge in Florence where the father of her children was with another woman.
Wess told police she was trying to figure out what the man was doing with the woman.
The two caught Wess trying to damage the woman's car.
The victim stepped in between Wess and the vehicle. Wess then proceeded to stab her in the neck, arm and ear with a flathead screwdriver.
The victim was taken to the hospital with severe but not life-threatening injuries.
Wess was charged with assault second degree and was released on $5,000 bond.
