HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
Huntsville Police arrested Victor Patton on domestic violence charges after a shooting Thursday night.
Police said Patton got into a fight with his step son, 18-year-old Travis Cole Chunn, at a home on Shady Lane Drive around 10:30 p.m.
Investigators said Patton pulled out a pistol and shot Chunn in the stomach. The victim was taken to Huntsville Hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Patton was arrested and booked into the Metro Jail on a first degree domestic violence charge.
