LINCOLN COUNTY, TN (WAFF) -

Tennessee authorities have canceled an endangered child alert for a young Fayetteville teen.

Lauren Anderson was found sometime Friday evening in Nashville.

Lauren's father, Mark Anderson, said her disappearance had him afraid for her safety. He said he moved her out of Madison County to try and escape 21-year-old Timothy Yates.

"He kept contacting Lauren, basically stalking her; and we decided to move to Tennessee to get her away from him," said Anderson.

Yates was arrested and is currently in the Nashville Jail. He was charged with four counts of statutory rape and has a bond of $200,000.

The details of his arrest are unknown.

Anderson said Yates is the son of a family friend, and that his daughter and the man started talking on Facebook, then through phone calls. Anderson said he caught Yates sneaking into his home once.

Yates was charged with statutory rape in June.

"I would say to Lauren, 'Come home, we love you.'  And to Tim, 'It will get worse if you don't bring her home. Do yourself a favor and bring my daughter home,'" said Anderson.
