DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -
A Walmart employee was arrested after another employee
discovered a cell phone was missing from its box.
Officials said the employee reported to management that a
Samsung phone had been stolen from its packaging. The phone was valued at more
than $500.
Brianna Smith, and employee with Walmart, was developed as a suspect and later arrested. She was
charged with theft second degree.
She was transferred to Morgan County Jail on $2,500 bond.
