ARAB, AL (WAFF) -
Keith Henderson, the former head football coach at Grissom High School who resigned after being charged with DUI, has now been hired by the Arab City School System.
Officials said Henderson was apparently trying to push tractor tires off the playing field by using a pickup truck and ended up getting the truck stuck when he was arrested and charged with DUI.
Arab School Superintendent Dr. John Mullins said:
We wholeheartedly believe that this isolated incident is not indicative of the totality of his personal and professional character. We fully believe that Keith Henderson will serve and represent our district well while carrying out the capacity of his duties.
