HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
Huntsville Police have charged three people who fled from a wreck early Monday morning.
Police said just before 2 a.m., a cream colored Lincoln Town Car was driving on Bob Wallace when it left the road and crashed into a house.
A witness said four people were inside the car and three of them, including the driver, ran from the scene. The witness said those three people were picked up by another car that then drove away.
Gladys Maria Turrubiartes was charged with leaving the scene of an accident.
The person left behind, the one riding in the front passenger seat, is the husband of Turrubiartes. He suffered serious injuries in the wreck. HEMSI took him to the hospital.
