McCurdy wins 45th Spirit of America Championship - WAFF-TV: News, Weather and Sports for Huntsville, AL

The 45th annual Spirit of America tournament saw Will McCurdy bring home top honors. McCurdy, a native of Ft Payne Alabama, finished the tournament at -12. McCurdy played his collegiate golf at Auburn.

2nd place belonged to current Alabama golfer Trey Mullinax. Mullinax finished at -7.  Killen native and current Wallace State golfer Dean Rikard finished in a tie for 3rd at -2.  Madison native and Central Alabama golfer Alex Mahlik finished in the top ten, tied for 7th, shooting +2 on Sunday.
