Moulton home destroyed by storms with family inside - WAFF-TV: News, Weather and Sports for Huntsville, AL

Daniel Terry was standing inside his home when storms rolled through Moulton Thursday night.

"This is the kitchen. The cabinets - that's where I was pinned at. Blew off the wall, pinned me there," he said.

Terry said the storm caused major damage to his home.

He and his family were inside when it hit.

"The windows blew out, hit me in the face. The cabinets pinned me against the wall. I got unpinned. By the time I did that, a tree fell in on the house, smashed me to the floor as I was trying to get my 2-month-old little baby uncovered from the debris, make sure they were alright and safe. We all got out safe," he said.

By light of day, you can see where the roof caved in, and there is debris all over the floor.

Terry said his home is likely a total loss.

He's just thankful his family made it out alive.
