MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL (AP) -
Police in Mountain Brook arrested a naked man
they say broke into a country club in search of something to drink.
Police Lt. Jim Cole tells The Birmingham News
(http://bit.ly/NEZdL0
) officers were called to the Birmingham Country Club at 3:38 a.m. Thursday on
a report of a disoriented person. Cole says a security guard heard something in
the dining room and went to investigate. He found a 21-year-old naked man with
a swollen ankle.
The man told police he had taken a lot of LSD
before a fireworks show and didn't remember anything after leaving for the
show. He told officers he thought he went into the club looking for a drink.
The man had not been formally charged. He was
taken to a hospital to treat his ankle.
