SHEFFIELD, AL (WAFF) -
A man was found dead in a residential pool in Sheffield Wednesday afternoon.
Police received a 911 call around 1:30 p.m. When they arrived at 3512 East 18th Court, they saw 52-year-old Alan Hyde at the bottom of the pool.
Officers jumped in, pulled the man out of the pool, and started CPR.
The victim was taken to the hospital where he later died.
A cause of death has not been determined, though a pre-existing medical condition may have played a role in his death.
