MORGAN COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -
Morgan County Drug Task Force Agents are becoming familiar with one Lacey's Spring neighborhood. Over the past five years, they have responded to five meth-involved situations at 69 Coffee Bluff Road.
The latest incident brought agents to the home late Monday night for a compliance check. When deputies arrived, they said they found four people making meth in a one room apartment.
Agents arrested George Rogers, Jr., Sam Johnson, Casey Bearden and William Watkins. Deputies said Watkins was holding a coffee filter with pseudo ephedrine inside.
Agents searched the rest of the room and found the group was putting together a one-pot meth lab. They also found several meth ingredients and drug paraphernalia.
All four people are charged with unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance. Agents arrested them and booked them into the Morgan County Jail.
