ARAB, AL (WAFF) -
A house dedication ceremony was held Friday afternoon in Arab for a family who lost their home in the April 27 tornadoes.
James Casey said he was shocked about what happened but was glad no one was injured.
Thanks to volunteers and donations, they now have a new home.
Casey said he just feels blessed.
"I didn't think it would happen this quick," he said. "People said it wouldn't happen this quick but they put the hammer to the nail and they got it done. I'm telling you, it's just joy. It's a lovely feeling. A warm heart. You know."
There is still some work to do on the home.
But they're expected to move in at the end of next week.
