GADSDEN, AL (WAFF) -
Etowah County Sheriff's Office investigators need the public's help to identify a rape suspect.
The suspect is a white male, about six feet tall and weighs 300 pounds. He has brown hair and is possibly in his early to mid-30s.
Investigators said the man raped a 26-year-old woman in Gadsden on June 24th between 1 a.m. and 1:30 a.m.
The victim stopped at the Jet Pep at 3rd Street and Meighan Boulevard, after her vehicle began to run hot. Investigators said the suspect followed his victim home after helping her with the vehicle problem.
The suspect was driving an older model Jeep. No further description is available.
