DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -
Decatur
police arrested a homeless sex offender Wednesday after he failed to register.
Officials
said that they investigated Joseph Ivy after information came in that he was
living in Decatur.
Ivy
was released from the Limestone County Jail in May. Ivy was not registered to
live or work in Decatur.
Ivy
was arrested and charged with not registering as a homeless sex offender and
failure to register employment.
Ivy
was convicted in 2002 of sexual abuse of a child under five.
He
was transferred to Morgan County Jail on $5000 bond.
