AUBURN, AL (WAFF) -
The Alabama Department of Public Health has identified a
case of pulmonary tuberculosis at Auburn University.
The ADPH discovered a case in a currently enrolled student.
Actions are being taken to screen students and faculty quickly.
Anyone with extended or close contact with the patient is
being tested.
The name of the patient has not been released. Currently, only one case has been reported. Screenings began Thursday.
