A DOT truck and car crashed just before 10:00 p.m.
Officials said 33-year-old Brandi Ricketts was trapped inside her car for about 25 minutes. She was seriously injured and HEMSI took her to Huntsville Hospital. She was listed in fair condition as of 2 p.m.
The man driving the DOT truck was taken to Decatur General Hospital with less serious injuries.
