SOMERVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
A Morgan County man was sentenced to 30 years in prison for
child pornography charges.
Danny Wilkes of Somerville pleaded guilty in April to
producing a video of a nude 10-year-old girl in 2008. On the videotape, Wilkes
directed the girl to make graphic anatomical gestures.
Officials said Wilkes was dating the girl's mother at the
time the tape was made. The tape was not discovered until 2010.
A U.S. District Judge sentenced Wilkes to 30 years in prison.
He will also have to register as a sex offender.
