GUNTERSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
One person was transported to the hospital after her vehicle caught fire following a car accident.
Guntersville Police responded to a two vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon. Officials said Jenna Martin rear-ended the back of a City of Guntersville Public Works vehicle that was hauling a trailer loaded with lawnmowers.
The trailer came loose and got stuck in the guardrail. The other vehicle caught fire.Rescue crews said they had to pull Martin and her 3-year-old-son, Drake from the burning vehicle.
Martin and her son were transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
