BRIDGEPORT, AL (WAFF) -
Alabama Fire Marshals and Jackson County deputies arrested a man on arson charges Tuesday.
Officials said the arrest stemmed from a May 16 fire on Alabama Avenue in Bridgeport. Don Steele allegedly started the fire.
The fire caused substantial damage to the home. Steele was also burned.
Steele was arrested June 26 and charged with arson second degree. His bond was set at $10,000.
