Funeral arrangements have been set for a 17-year-old drowning victim.
Adam Ventress was found around 12 a.m. Sunday after reportedly drowning in Elk River. Ventress would have been a senior at Sparkman High School.
"We are deeply saddened by Adam's death and know that he will be missed by the Sparkman High School family and all that knew him," said Madison County Schools in a statement. "We extend sincere sympathy to the Ventress family and want them to know that our thoughts and prayers are with them."
Ventress' funeral will be June 30 at 7 p.m. the Spry Funeral Home.
