Bounty hunters find meth lab while searching for rape suspect

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Bounty hunters called Huntsville police when they found a meth lab at a home in the 800 block of Giles Drive.

Police said they were at that home searching for James Skiles. Skiles is wanted for rape and sodomy in Huntsville.

Around 2:00 a.m. Tuesday, the bounty hunters searched the home. Huntsville police and STAC agents were called to the house. Police said they arrested two people.

59-year-old Darrell Eugene Overton and 35-year-old Dugan Clayton were charged with manufacture of a controlled substance. Their bonds were set at $100,000.

Police said this is the second meth lab found at this home in three months.

Skiles was not at the home.
