MEMPHIS, TN -
(WMC-TV) – Police are searching for the men caught on camera running from a convenience store when an aggravated assault led to a shooting in the parking lot.
Police were called to the Q-Mart on Hollywood Street when two men said they were assaulted by a group of guys inside the store.
The two victims, a 21-year-old man and a 19-year-old man, said they were checking out at the register when several men came into the store and attacked them from behind. They said another suspect was waiting outside.
When one of the victims left the store, the man who was waiting outside chased him through the parking lot and shot at him. He was grazed in the back of the head by a bullet.
The victim was taken to Methodist University Hospital in non-critical condition. He has since been released.
No arrests have been made in the assault. Police are searching for at least two men. One of them is described as a black male, 18 to 19 years old, about 5'8" tall. The other suspect is a black male, 5'8" to 6' tall with a medium build.
