HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
1 person was taken to the hospital for serious injuries after a car crashed into the cement wall on I-565.
Before midnight Monday, a car was traveling west on I-565 in Huntsville when it ran into the outer cement wall near the Oakwood Avenue exit. The car skidded along the road until it came to a stop.
2 people were in the car at the time. 1 person had minor injuries, the other had serious injuries and was taken to the hospital.
Police say speed may have been a factor in this crash.
One person goes to the hospital with injuries from a single car accident.
