HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
A local
couple is looking for their dogs after the animals were placed in a separate location when the clinic where they were housed was shut down.
Lena and
Lee Henry said they left their two in the care of Glenn's Animal Hospital on Jordan
Lane in Huntsville while they were on vacation.
During
that time, the clinic called and left them a message that said they had to shut
down due to an emergency.
The
clinic employee said the couple had 24 hours to pick up the dogs, She said she
tried to reach their grandson, but he didn't answer.
"When
we got back, we had heard that he had been closed down for some reason, the
dogs are not there and we have not been able to locate them," said Lee
Henry.
Henry
said his wife is desperate to get them back.
The
Henrys said no one has told them where their dogs were taken.
