AUBURN, AL (WSFA) -

Just two weeks after an apartment complex shooting in Auburn left three people dead and six injured, attention is again on Auburn University.

According to Lee County Jail records, Auburn Tigers' freshman quarterback Zeke Pike was arrested over the weekend and charged with public intoxication.

Pike was later released on a $300 bond.

No statements have been released by Auburn University of the Auburn Athletic Department regarding Pike's arrest.

Pike, a 6'6" 230lb. QB from Kentucky, has been battling with Kiehl Frazier and Clint Moseley for the starting quarterback position of on the Tigers football team.
