MORGAN COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -
Decatur Police arrested one man for public intoxication and assault charges.
Authorities said they responded to a man with a gun at the Brick Deli at 112 E. Moulton Street in Decatur around 1 a.m. Saturday.
Officers discovered that another fight had broken out inside the bar, and James Dickey had been struck in the face with a beer bottle. He suffered severe injuries to his face.
Witnesses identified 22-year-old Cameron Gary Allen of Baxley, Georgia as the person who struck Dickey with the beer bottle.
Allen tried to run away from police but was later caught.
He was booked in the Morgan County Jail on a $3,000 bond.
