Morgan County sheriff's deputies arrested two juveniles after they allegedly
stole a rifle from an Eva residence.
Officials reported that a .17 HMR caliber rifle with scope was stolen
from a Hudgins Road residence on June 19. Deputies said the thieves entered
through a bedroom window.
A witness told police that two Brewer High School boys had a rifle
matching the description at his home. The witness also said he had seen the
stolen rifle before and was sure it was the same one.
Both boys were arrested and charged with burglary second degree. They
were taken to Juvenile Detention Facility.
