ARAB, AL (WAFF) -
Marshall County deputies arrested a noncompliant sex offender Thursday.
During a compliance check, deputies found Darren Anderton of Arab was living in violation of sex offender rules.
Anderton was charged for not having a valid address on his driver's license and for failing to update his information. Deputies also found Anderton had an email and social media account they were unaware of.
Darren was convicted in 1996 of sexual abuse of a 5-year-old.
