LETCHER, AL (WAFF) -
Jackson County officials arrested a man charged with
assaulting a 53-year-old male.
Officials arrested 21-year-old Caleb Tidwell and charged him
with assault second degree.
Investigators said the victim was attacked at his County
Road 17 residence on June 6. He was struck several times in the head and torso
with a blunt object.
Officials said he was seriously injured and spent six days
in the hospital.
Tidwell was arrested June 19 and taken to Jackson County
Jail on $2,500 bond.
