DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -
Decatur police charged a man in the February burglary of
Full Throttle.
Officials said the store was burglarized in February of
2012. The owner reported a 2008 Suzuki G-SX-R600 motorcycle stolen.
Investigations led to the suspect Joseph Jackson. On
February 27, the stolen motorcycle was recovered after a brief pursuit in
Panama City, Florida. Jackson was arrested in Florida and charged with driving
while license suspended, resisting officer, flee/elude officer with lights siren
active, hit and run and leaving the scene
of crash involve damage to property.
On February 29, Decatur officers obtained a warrant for his
arrest. Jackson waived his extradition and was transferred to Morgan County
Jail on June 18. He was charged with robbery first degree and his bond was set
at $5,000.
