MORGAN COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -
State Troopers are investigating a wreck on Highway 231 in Laceys Spring.
They said a woman was driving south in a gold Saturn around 2:15 a.m. Monday when she ran off the road and crashed into a tree.
She was trapped inside the car for 20 minutes.
Laceys Spring Volunteer Fire Department, Morgan County Sheriff's Department, HEMSI and Madison County Rescue Squad responded to the accident.
A HEMSI ambulance took her to the hospital. Officials said her injuries are serious.
