LINCOLN COUNTY, TN (WAFF) -
Tennessee Highway Patrol confirmed a motorcycle accident in Lincoln County caused the death of one couple Saturday night.
Officials said Teresa Harris, 52, and her husband Billy, 51, swerved to miss hitting a dog going South on Highway 275 just before 11:30 p.m.
When they accidentally hit the dog, they lost control of their bike and were killed.
Those know knew the couple said they were very well known in the Lincoln County community.
