HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
Huntsville police are searching for the driver of an RV that led officers on a chase Sunday morning.
Officials said they were running a safety check point on Pulaski Pike near Holmes Avenue when an RV sped through. Huntsville Police pursued the vehicle onto Holmes Avenue.
The RV pulled into the parking lot of the Seldon Center. The RV ran into the building and stopped. The driver exited the vehicle and fled, leading officers on a foot chase.
Police believe the RV was stolen but were unable to locate the offender.
When caught, the offender will face multiple charges, including reckless endangerment, fleeing, eluding and possibly theft of property.
Police are searching for the driver of the RV.
