HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
Huntsville police responded to the scene of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on Triana Boulevard and Drake Avenue.
It happened around noon Saturday. Officials said the pedestrian stepped out in front of the vehicle and was hit.
The victim was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Officers said the driver was not at fault, and no charges are currently being filed.
The name of the victim has not been released.
