TUSCALOOSA, AL (WAFF) -
The University Of Alabama Board Of Trustees has planned a vote for a tuition increase beginning next school year (2012-13).
Thursday the finance committee released its proposal for tuition increases. The proposal calls for a $350 hike in tuition per semester for the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
If approved, the total cost per academic school year, based on 15 credits a semester, would be nearly $8,800.
The tuition hike would also raise the cost at the University of Alabama and the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
The Board of Trustees will vote on the tuition increase at a meeting Friday morning at 11 a.m.
