DeKalb County woman leads police on chase through two counties

DEKALB COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

A DeKalb County woman is accused of leading police on a chase through two counties.

28-year-old Annette Carter, of Woodville, is charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, carrying a pistol without a permit, driving with a suspended license, and attempting to elude.

She was also wanted in Sardis, Attalla, Collinsville, and Etowah County.

Jackson County also has a warrant for her arrest for a probation violation.

Investigators said when they finally stopped her they found a small bag of meth and a gun.
