$2600 worth of meth found during traffic stop in Arab; 2 men arrested

ARAB, AL (WAFF) -

Two men were arrested in Arab after police discovered a large amount of drugs during a traffic stop Monday morning. Officials said they threw the drugs out of the vehicle.

Arab Police confiscated 26 grams of methamphetamine along Highway 231. It was found in a black pouch and is estimated to be worth $2,600.

30-year-old Johnny Ray Smith of Altoona and 27-year-old L.C. Waller of Albertville were charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
