DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -

Decatur Police are searching for Ronnie Boyd Elliot, Jr. in connection with a funeral shooting.

Eliot is wanted for second degree assault in Friday's shooting of Comac Love. Love was shot on Chestnut Street after attending his friend, Houston Glenn Blackwood's funeral.

Blackwood was shot and killed in the same area several days prior. Investigators said Love was shot in the neck after an altercation around 3 p.m. Friday. Friends and family were gathered in front of the Blackwood home for a cook-out, shortly after Blackwood's funeral.

Elliot, who also goes by the name D.J., is 5'8" and weighs 150 pounds. Investigators said he is considered armed and dangerous.

Earlier Friday, three Decatur teens were arrested and charged with capital murder on the very day Blackwood was laid to rest.

Jameson Dartelle Staten, Steve Oneal King Jr. and Lorin Wilson will be tried as adults.
