DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -
One of the three people
arrested for a double murder at the Decatur Krystal restaurant wants a closer
look at the evidence used against her.
Attorneys for Cassandra
Eldred have filed motions to uncover evidence prosecutors have against her. The
motion also seeks to allow the defense to inspect and make copies of the
evidence.
Police said the trio murdered Jessie Aguilar and Jeffrey Graff during a
Krystal's robbery in August 2011. Investigators said Eldred waited in the car while
the other two robbed the Krystal and shot the victims.
If convicted, the trio faces the death penalty or life in prison without parole.
Eldred, Jordan Creque
and Ezikiel Gholston remain in jail without bond until their trial.
