Marshall County deputies arrested and charged a Grant man for shooting into a house.
Deputies responded to a shots fired call on Cherry Creek Lane in the Swearengin community just after 12 p.m. Friday. The homeowner told authorities he heard several gunshots when he noticed at least one round had entered the house.
Investigators located the suspect, 29-year-old Brandon Wade Fletcher, just after 4 p.m. driving a 1992 Toyota Corolla near his home on Old Union Road.
While arresting the suspect, deputies discovered Fletcher had a .45 caliber handgun secured in the waistband of his pants.
Fletcher was charged with shooting into occupied dwelling and carrying a pistol without a permit. His bond was set at $36,000.
