SHEFFIELD, AL (WAFF) -
The body of a 44-year-old Tina Vinedetti was found at 207 Jackson Court Monday morning.
Investigators said she appears to have been dead for several days.
Police have released Vinedetti's boyfriend from custody. He was questioned in the case. Because no charges have been filed yet, his name has not been released.
Her body will be sent to Huntsville for autopsy. A preliminary autopsy said the cause of death was undetermined. Officials are awaiting the results of a toxicology report.
Chief Greg Ray said without the autopsy results, there is no way to prove that she was murdered or that he was involved.
Ray did say that the way the body was left for so long without being reported was disturbing.
