HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
Huntsville Police are investigating a bizarre armed robbery attempt at a hotel.
Police said it happened around 1 a.m. Saturday at a hotel along the 4000 block of Independence Drive in northwest Huntsville.
The victim told police she and her three children were sleeping inside on of the rooms when a man armed with a gun kicked the door open. The offender asked the victim, "Where is it?" The victim said the gunman looked around and appeared to have been in the wrong room. The offender left the room without taking anything.
