Have you ever heard of a transaction involving more than $3,000 at a convenience store?
This "transaction" was actually a theft - a quiet theft involving a large check.
According to Huntsville Police, a woman was caught on camera cashing a check for $3,056.35. It was made out to Martina Vite-Ramos.
HPD said pictures show the woman cashing the check is not Vite-Ramos.
The woman who is caught on surveillance camera making off with over $3,000 is charged with theft by deception.
